Sabrina

Born and raised in the Yukon, Sabrina is a 17-year-old artist with a background in classical training and a passion for music. Previously a would-be pianist, Sabrina explored many different genres, but returned to Hip-Hop every time. Feeling a soulful connection to this style of music, she felt it was the perfect place for her to blend her training and creativity into genuine expression.

For Sabina, music was always made from the heart, so "playing by the book" was not her specialty, much to her classical teacher's dismay. Exploring Hip-Hop music production, Sabrina felt she had finally found a place to let her voice be heard - utilizing the creative and outspoken freedom of this genre to explore the potential of storytelling through music.

He has never owned a microphone so he started using the built-in mic on his school laptop to record his songs onto Garageband. In the last nine months, he has released twenty-two tracks on Youtube and has several more in the works
